Rammanohar Lohia
On the 113th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Ram Manohar Lohia, leaders paid their tributes. Lohia, born on March 23, 1910, was a pivotal figure in advocating for the rights of backward castes and farmers, reshaping politics in India’s heartland. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Lohia as a towering intellectual who contributed significantly to India’s freedom struggle and later served as a dedicated leader and MP. Other leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, also honored his legacy.
